Authorities on Friday imposed curfew and restrictions in the Kashmir Valley to prevent separatist called protests in Srinagar. “Curfew and restrictions have been imposed in many parts of the Valley including Srinagar city,” a senior police official told IANS. “People are advised to cooperate with the administration to prevent anti-social elements fro causing trouble.” Life across the Valley remained paralysed for the 21st day as the separatists extended their protest shutdown till July 31.
