The joint leadership of pro-freedom groups on Thursday called for a referendum march on August 13 and 14. Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq announced that people from all over Kashmir would start marching towards Lal Chowk from August 13. “We will reiterate that our peaceful struggle for freedom would continue unless Kashmir issue is not resolved according to the wishes and aspirations of people and atrocities are not stopped,” said the Mirwaiz.
