Hundreds of people in Shopian and Kulgam districts hold nocturnal protests against police raids, reports said on Tuesday. People in large numbers raised anti-India and pro-freedom slogans in many areas of Shopian and Kulgam districts to resist the arresting of youth during night. Sources said that police teams raided dozens of residential houses in south Kashmir during night however they had to face stiff resistance compelling them to leave without arresting anyone in most of the areas.
