In last 113 days of unrest in Kashmir about 2400 FIRs have been registered and above 10,000 people arrested, according to police data. Among them, about 1500 persons are still in police stations and jails, the rest have been released on bail. The arrests, according to the data, have been made in all districts of Kashmir. 10,500 Year-old camping site found in Nubra Valley

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has discovered a 10,500-year-old (8,500 BC) camping site at a height of 14,000 feet en route the Karakoram Pass in Ladakh. There is an evidence of human activity at the camping site for about 800 years. The site is in the Nubra valley on the way to Saser La which leads to the Karakoram Pass.
