Re-polling at 38 polling stations in Budgam district in Srinagar parliamentary constituency began on Thursday, election officials said. Re-poll was ordered in 38 polling stations of Chadoora, Chrar-e-Sharief, Khan Sahib and Beerwah tehsils of Budgam district where violence had disrupted the process on Sunday. A semblance of normalcy returned to Kashmir Valley after two days of shutdown, which was called by separatist leadership in wake of killing of civilians who were shot dead by forces during by-election. Chief Electoral Officer Jammu and Kashmir Shantmanu on Tuesday said that re-polling would be held at 38 polling stations of Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency on April 13.
