808 Covid-19 Cases with 4 fatalities reported from across J&K

For the third day in running, Jammu & Kashmir reported 808 new covid-19 cases while four more people died due to the virus in the last 24 hours, officials said on Friday.Among the fresh cases, 283 were reported from Jammu Division and 525 from Kashmir Valley, taking the total count to 136470. Normal life was affected in Kashmir on Tuesday due to a shutdown to mark the eight death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Mohammad Afzal Guru who was hanged in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on this day in 2013, officials said. Security forces gunned down four terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad in a gunfight near Nagrota town in the Jammu district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, officials said.
