A man was stabbed to death by unidentified persons in the Batamaloo area of Srinagar on Tuesday, reports said. Some unknown persons attacked a man identified as Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Momin-Abad at Bypass-Batmaloo near Dar Iron Traders in Srinagar on Tuesday evening, injuring him critically, said a report. A civilian, hailing from Udhampur district, was shot dead on Monday evening at Ashajipora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag. Tragic Incident: Three Brothers lose their lives as House Collapses in Kishtwar, Police

Three brothers were killed when their house collapsed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district on Friday, police said. The house collapsed at night in the mountainous hamlet of Puller in Nagseni tehsil, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khalil Poswal told PTI. Three brothers — identified as Rajesh, Sajan and Papu — were killed in the incident, police said. The other members of the family are safe, police added.

Tragic road accident in Kishtwar claims six lives and leaves several injured

At least six labourers died and several were injured after a vehicle they were traveling in met with an accident in J&K’s Kishtwar district on Wednesday, police said. An official said that the vehicle was carrying workers of Dangduru Power Project in Dachan area when it met an accident. A rescue operation is underway.
