A youth was injured after being stabbed in Nowhata area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Friday while the police said that the accused has been arrested. At least five people were killed and seven others injured when a vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge on Bhaderwah Pathankot road in Doda district on Tuesday afternoon. Two fresh earthquakes of magnitude 4.3 and 2.8 jolted Jammu and Kashmir’s Katra and Doda areas respectively in the early hours of June 14, triggering a panic among residents.
