Pooja Holidays for All Schools in Jammu from October 29-November 2
Srinagar, Oct 23: In a festive announcement, the Directorate of School Education, Jammu and Kashmir, has declared a five-day holiday for all schools in the Jammu division from October 29 to November 2, 2024, in celebration of Diwali festivities. This order applies to both government and private educational institutions up to the higher secondary level, encompassing both summer and winter zones.
The official statement reads, “It is hereby ordered that all the Educational institutions Government/Private up to Higher Secondary levels (Summer/Winter Zones) of Jammu Division shall observe Five (5) days Pooja Holidays w.e.f October 29 to November 2, 2024.”
This break will allow students and their families to fully immerse themselves in the joyous celebrations of Diwali, a festival of lights that symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Schools are scheduled to reopen on November 4, 2024, following the Pooja break.
