oth males and females are equal and there is no inequality between the two. Our religion Islam has given them equal rights even if females do lack physically. Ironically, boys do enjoy the better treatment of girls in our society. While girl children feel neglected still in most of our families. The reality is men have more strength and are having the duty to feed the family. But women cannot be undermined and made for housekeeping only.
The results are showing that girls are at par mentally with boys and many times fare better than their counterparts. It is the duty of parents first at home to make boys and girls understand there is no difference between the two. While society as a whole also should safeguard the rights of women particularly at the workplace, on roads, and in buses. In the older times, men used to be hunters who would search for livelihood in order to feed their families.
While women would feel safe inside the four walls of their homes. As husbands are busy keeping up the pace of the busy work during the daytime. Women sometimes do not realize the challenges they have to face outside the home. Men seem to be stronger but they too have inner conflicts. We always talk and write about women’s empowerment but when it comes to men. We never appreciate their efforts in our daily lives. Sometimes they even tolerate the insults just to have normal family time. It is unfortunate that when men return back home from work they wish for better treatment by everyone. Men crave validation from their wives and want someone who can listen to them.
They are bad at expressing their sorrows in front of the family. Wives often nag when the husband comes home. Most of the married women don’t offer water or ask about their day. They only complain to their husband instead of giving him peace. Nowadays men are being tortured by their wives. Modern women want things their way and try to dominate their husbands. They don’t even respect their partner. Some women take pride in their earnings and make men feel inferior. It is not always good to play women card. Just because women are welcomed everywhere doesn’t mean that they will take advantage of men. When a woman raises her voice, everybody stands for her.
Men are harassed behind doors, they are told to be silent. They can’t even share this torcher in fear that society will make fun of them. It is a shame that some women even hit their husbands and shout on them. That is why domestic violence cases of men are increasing. Men commit more suicides as compared to women. It is time to stand up for all those men who are a victim of harassment. Hence, women must make men feel special and create a happy environment at home. A man sacrifices his comforts for the sake of his family. He goes to every extent to make them live a comfortable and happy life. We must spread awareness about men’s empowerment to maintain equality.
