Bajrang Dal protest Mehbooba Mufti’s Jammu visit

Bajrang Dal activists on Friday held protests against PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti who is on a visit to the city. They raised slogans and showed black flags to Mehbooba when she came out of the Jammu airport. The right-wing outfit activists alleged that the PDP leader was supporting Pakistan and defending Kashmiri medical students who raised slogans in favor of the Pakistan cricket team. Below normal temp continues in most parts of Kashmir Valley, Srinagar shivers at 0.7 degrees

Below normal minimum temperatures continued in most parts of Kashmir on the fifth straight day. First sub-zero temperatures of the season were recorded at many places during the night intervening Thursday and Friday. Kupwara, in north Kashmir, shivered at minus 0.9 degrees Celsius, which was 1.4 degrees below the average and was this season’s coldest night. Gulmarg, the popular ski-resort in north Kashmir, recorded night temperature above the freezing point at 0.6 degrees Celsius as the snow cover shrunk over the area, after over 5 inches of snowfall last week.…
