‘They are using our water resources but we have to buy electricity”
Apni Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari has criticized the companies engaged in the execution of power projects and construction of the National Highway for not providing employment to local youth even as they exploit natural resources of Jammu and Kashmir.
In this joining program, Congress leader Khushboo Bhagat among over a dozen prominent people including a BJP leader retired Principal C.D Sharma and Advocate Sofia Choudhary on Monday joined Apni Party in presence of Party President, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari.
Bukhari welcomed them into the Party. He hoped that their joining will strengthen the party at the grass-root level in Kathua, and Samba Districts.
Similarly, BJP’s woman leader Sunita Kundal along with her supports namely Santosh Kundal, Madhu, Pooja Kundal, Anuradha, Pooja Devi, Ram Lal Sharma, Poli Devi, Renu Devi, Sonali Kundal, Satyam Kundal, Karan Kundal, Rahul Kundal, and Baby also joined Apni Party from Jammu East Assembly Constituency.
Besides, retired Financial Advisor, Health and Medical Education Dept, Mohan Lal Koul (Gulabi), and retired Accounts Officer, Tarseem Singh Manhas also joined Apni Party through Provincial Secretary, Dr. Rohit Gupta.
Welcoming them into the Party, he directed the party leaders and workers to work for social, educational, and political upliftment of the people, especially the neglected section of society.

He further said that “The feeling of helplessness and disappointment among the people has increased in absence of an elected Govt. in J&K. Therefore, it is imperative to hold assembly elections without further delay and restore the Statehood.”
