As the Jammu division is facing a heat wave, the Valley is coping with a cold summer and storms. The mercury in the Jammu region has crossed 40°C and is expected to rise further. Offering bonanza to Vaishno Devi pilgrims, the Indian Railways has decided to run a high-tech semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express between Delhi and Katra with an aim to reduce the travel time by about four hours. At least 15 people including four children and one woman were killed after a wall of a housing society collapsed in Pune post midnight, following heavy rains.
