Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a low of minus 1.8 degrees Celsius while southern Kashmir’s Qazigund, the gateway town of Valley, and Kokernag witnessed minimum of minus 2.8 and minus 1.7 degree Celsius respectively. The day temperature in Kupwara, Qazigund and Kokernag settled at 12.8, 12.0 and 10.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
