Chief Electoral Officer Jammu and Kashmir Shantmanu on Tuesday said that re-polling would be held at 38 polling stations of Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency on April 13. Large scale violence erupted during the by-poll held on Sunday. Eight protesters were killed after government forces opened fire to break up the protests near polling stations.

Resistance withdraws tomorrow’s strike call, Internet may be restored today
The joint resistance leadership on Tuesday withdrew the shutdown call issued for south Kashmir after the deferment of Anantnag by-poll, said a spokesman.
