A pale of gloom descended Ashtengoo village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday when bodies of a slain youth and a cop reached their homes. In one of the deadliest militant attacks in recent times, six policemen including a station house officer (SHO) were killed in an ambush on a police party in Achabal area of this south Kashmir district Friday evening. Army opens fire in Bandipora, 2 critically injured

Two youths have been critically injured in Bandipora after Army allegedly opened fire on a passenger vehicle in the area. Locals reports said that army opened fire on a passenger sumo near Chek Reshipora.
