The joint resistance leadership is flying to Delhi on September 9, to volunteer arrest before the NIA. The decision was taken to end harassment by the federal investigating agency in Kashmir.
JKLF leader Yasin Malik said he and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Octogenarian leader Syed Ali Geelani have already arranged tickets for September 9 and they will be directly driving to the NIA headquarters to volunteer their arrest. Malik announced the decision while speaking to a rare gathering in the premises of the Jamia Masjid.
“This is a joint decision and this is the only way out to end the terror that NIA has unleashed in nook and corner of Kashmir,” Malik said in his speech.
Though all the three were supposed to speak to the gathering, Geelani could not attend because he continues to remain under house detention. However, an announcement was made that he will make a speech using the cell phone.
The public meeting is going on in the Jamia premises.
