A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislator Raja Singh has asked Hindu pilgrims intending to visit Kashmir for the Amarnath Yatra this year not to buy anything from “traitor Kashmiri Muslims” to avenge the attacks on Indian soldiers in Kashmir.
The video, which was first uploaded on his ‘Sri Ram Channel’ on YouTube, last month, has since been removed.
“To those who visit Amarnath and other holy sites in May, June and July, my request is that don’t buy anything even worth Rs 1, of goods from these traitor Kashmiri Muslims who hurl rocks and attack our security forces,’’ appeals Raja Singh, in the video.
Singh also appealed the pilgrims, who visit Srinagar after the Yatra, not to buy anything from Muslims “to teach them a lesson”.
“If we make that small effort, in the coming time, you will realise that these traitors who live off our money. If we don’t buy anything from them for a few years, these traitor Kashmiri Muslims will get on their knees and say that they don’t want Pakistan or separate Kashmir, but that they will stay with India only,” he says.
According to Siasat web portal, the Goshamahal MLA in Hyderabad is no stranger to controversy. “He has several cases of hate speech pending against him,” says the website.
