He said that had CM been informed by police about the encounter, Hizb commander would have been arrested and not killed.
Senior PDP leader and MP, Muzaffar Hussain Beig, on Wednesday accused ‘some police officers’ of working for opposition National Conference, saying that killing of Hizb Commander Burhan Wani was part of big conspiracy aimed to dislodge the present Government.
He said that had CM been informed by police about the encounter, Hizb commander would have been arrested and not killed.
“The conspiracy was aimed to dislodge the present Government and that is why CM Mehbooba Mufti was kept in dark about the encounter,” Beig said addressing a party convention for north Kashmir at Baramulla. The convention was first of its kind after the killing of Burhan Wani. Beig was accompanied by party general secretary Sartaj Madni, minister for rural development Haq Khan, Nizam-u-Din Bhat, MLAs Baramulla and Tangmarg.
Beig accused Pakistan army and PM Nawaz Sharif of “not digesting the PDP-BJP alliance in JK” saying that south Kashmir was chosen for the unrest as it is the stronghold of PDP.
“We took written guarantee from BJP over the agenda of alliance which safeguards the rights of people of Kashmir. However, their has been failure on part of PDP in not making it public,” said Beig.
MLA Baramulla Javed Beig pitched for return of Muzaffar Beig in the State cabinet.
