Militant organization Lashkar-e-Toyyiba (LeT) on Tuesday sought permission from pro-freedom leadership of Jammu Kashmir to “eliminate Indian agents” in the State “who don’t mend their ways despite warned time and again”.
In a statement issued to a Srinagar-based news gathering agency Global News Service (GNS), the LeT Chief, Mehmood Shah also hailed the resolve and steadfastness of the people of Jammu Kashmir “who are resisting the oppression by Indian occupational forces”.
“The resolve with which Kashmiris are resisting the Indian oppression without caring for all kinds of losses is a befitting reply to people like Rajnath Singh and enough to put to vain their Chanakyan policies in Jammu Kashmir,” the LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi quoted Shah as saying. “Insha Allah (God Willing), we will achieve Azadi,” he added.
Thanking the Government of Pakistan (GoP) for nominating special envoys to highlight Kashmir issue globally, the Lashkar Chief urged the Pakistani government to also include the Hurriyat Conference leadership in the delegation to “make it clear to world that Kashmiris don’t accept Indian forcible rule”.
Reacting to (Chief Minister) Mehbooba Mufti’s remark that only 5 percent people are with “resistance movement”, Mehmood Shah said the funeral prayers of “Shaheed Abu Al-Qasim and Shaheed Burhan Wani” made it clear to whole world as to what percent people demand “Azadi.”
“On the other hand, despite the participation of government employees, the funeral prayers of Mufti Sayeed didn’t amount to even one percent. So, Mehbooba Mufti before speaking against the freedom movement should keep in view the factual realities,” the Lashkar Chief added. (GNS)
