Warns New Delhi of dire consequences over NEET, separate township issue
AIP chief and MLA Langate Er Rasheed Wednesday said NC and Congress have no moral right to condemn or accuse PDP as all these three parties have acted as “collaborators” of New Delhi and were responsible for creation of “Kashmir dispute”.
While addressing a public gathering at Qammar in Verinag, Er Rasheed asked people to get united “to get rid of these anti-Kashmiri forces”.
“The lust of power among NC and PDP has reduced the regional parties to the level of extension wings of BJP and Congress. Showing concern about NEET issue by NC and PDP proves that these parties have given their consent through back door channels to snatch little bit of autonomy the state has. It is strange that now New Delhi is dictating terms over every issue and its pro-active stand has forced Kashmir based parties to forget about Kashmiri nationalism and political aspirations of Kashmiris,” Rasheed said.
Rather seeking suggestions from Mehbooba about resolution of Kashmir issue New, Delhi was dictating to provide land for composite township for Kashmiris Pandits, he said.
“But let New Delhi not forget that J&K is not only Omer Abdullah or Mehbooba Mufti but a nation which enjoyed freedom while India was fighting Britishers,” Rasheed said while warning New Delhi of “dire consequences” if it didn’t drop the idea of “so called composite townships”. He thanked people of South Kashmir for offering their “full support” to AIP and promised that AIP will leave no stone unturned to fight for the rights of Kashmiris.
