Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Syed Ali Gilani, and the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik, have said that Indian policymakers have created a do or die situation for the Kashmiris.
Syed Ali Gilani and Muhammad Yasin Malik held a meeting at the office of the APHC Chairman at Hyderpora in Srinagar and discussed several issues including the establishment of soldier colonies, separate townships for the Kashmiri Pandits, implementation of new Industrial Policy in Kashmir, construction of shelters for the non-state labourers by the Indian government and the miserable condition of the Jammu Muslims.
The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar after the meeting said that both the leaders agreed that the policy makers of India want to change the demography of Jammu and Kashmir as soon as possible. “For this purpose, the new communal government will use its entire force and machinery. PDP in this regard is extending its every possible support to the RSS and this party has sold the entire Kashmiri nation for the chair of power,” he quoted the two leaders as having said.
He said that Syed Ali Gilani and Muhammad Yasin Malik unanimously agreed that a “Do or Die” like situation had been created for the Kashmiris. “It was decided in the meeting that the pro-freedom organizations will jointly resist implementation of the RSS agenda and a disciplined and an effective course of action will be formulated in this regard. Any negligence in this regard will have serious consequences and very soon our condition will not be better than the people of Palestine who have been rendered homeless in their own land,” he added.
The APHC spokesman said that Mehbooba Mufti and her ministers were absolutely lying to the people and they were keeping the public in dark regarding the dangerous policies of New Delhi. “Syed Ali Gilani and Yasin Malik said that the Kashmiris will do everything to safeguard their struggle, individuality and their Muslim identity and the pro-freedom leadership will be at frontline of this movement. Both the leaders agreed in the meeting that if New Delhi will try to implement its policies in Jammu and Kashmir, the entire pro-freedom leadership and the entire Kashmir will be on same page and will resist in every possible ways,” he said.
The leaders appealed to the people to be mentally prepared to counter the agendas of RSS and Sangh Parivar and reaffirmed their resolve that the Indian government had to go through their dead bodies to implement their vicious policies, he added.
The JKLF spokesman in a statement termed the meeting as part of consultative efforts to promote a unified approach for tackling new challenges being posed by Indian rulers and their Kashmiri stooges in the territory. He said that on all the issues, discussed in the meeting, there was a complete unanimity of thoughts and ideas shared by both sides.
Later, the JKLF delegation went to the office of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries and held a meeting with its leaders. The JKLF spokesman said that a constructive discussion regarding the new challenges faced by the Kashmiris was held and everyone present in the meeting expressed concern over India’s conspiratorial plots in Kashmir.
