Scenic Pakharpora in central Kashmir’s Budgam may get a huge boost in the days to come as it has all what the film industry requires for shooting.
This was stated by Bollywood actor-turned producer, while addressing a function to promote rural tourism at Pakharpora, which was organised by the National Welfare Forum on Friday. Bollywood producer, who is shooting a film, “Sargoshaiyan”, said Pakharpora was a unique destination with a virgin beauty that had never been shot by the film industry.
“Since ’60s Bollywood has been shooting films at famous tourist destinations like Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg and people would love to see new places of Kashmir through Bollywood movies. Pakharpora is bestowed by nature with a unique beauty and famous shrine and perfect locale for filming,” Khan said.
“I would request Bollywood, Hollywood and the film industry to come here and explore the area. Believe me once they do it they would love and get influenced by the beauty of the village, ” he said and added that he himself was shooting some scenes of his film in the areas as he was lot more influenced by the geography.
