Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM), Aasiya Andrabi has castigated communal elements for hatching conspiracies against Islamic ideology, local culture and civilization of Jammu and Kashmir.
Aasiya Andrabi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, RSS-backed people are planning to organize a cultural programme at Gulmarg on Thursday in an attempt to counter the Islamic ideology of Kashmiris.
“This program is being sponsored by a few Urdu, English dailies and TV channels. In this programme shameless Bollywood actors have been invited to perform. The event is being branded as an exemplary show of Kashmiryat. The real culture of Kashmir is related to Islam and it has no place to celebrate events like new-year. These events can be important for any culture but they don’t have any connection with Islam,” she maintained.
“These programs are being organised under an agenda devised by RSS to thrust shameless and lewd culture upon Kashmir. This program is not a Parvaaz of Kashmir but the Parwaaz of a vulture which is always destined towards filth,” she said.
She asked people to remain away from such programmes. “On one hand our youth are laying down their lives for Islam and on the other hand these shameless programmes are being held. We should refrain from playing into the hands of RSS and their local agents,” she added.
Aasiya said, “People should realize that Kashmir movement is at a very crucial juncture. Delhi and its agents in Kashmir are using all the ways and means to push people away from Islam and the teachings of our Prophet (SAW). We are custodians of the sacrifices rendered by the martyrs and we have to safeguard these at any cost. It’s our duty to give befitting reply to such people who are hell-bent upon promoting obscenity in the society on the pretext of Kashmiriyat.”
