Selection of Lecturers in SKIMS Bemina
Decision of holding interviews in Jammu made by CS: Dr Zargar

Official sources told that venue for the interview was shifted to Jammu for the convenience of the interview panel led by Chief Secretary who is stationed in Jammu after Darbar move.
“This is unacceptable and unethical because the posts are meant for a SKIMS Medical College, Bemina. Interviews should also be conducted in Srinagar because it has nothing to do with Darbar move because selection is not done by Public Service Commission,” they said.
The applicant doctors said they were being forced to fly to Jammu by SKIMS authorities to please their higher-ups and non-local expert panel.
“They are only doing this to fulfill their vested interests without bothering for patient-care because if so many doctors will leave station the patients will suffer,” they said.
“It will be first time in 16 years that interview has been shifted to Jammu for the convenience of interview panel,” said a senior official in SKIMS.
The SKIMS in a recent advertisement, SKIMS MC 02 of 2015 dated 16-05-2015 said that interviews for Advertisement Notice No 03 of 2013 dated 14-10-2013 and Notice 01 SKIMS MC of 2014 dated 25-02-2014 are will be held in Jammu.
