Army’s 6-Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group on Tuesday arrested four youths when they were trying to cross Line Of Control in North Kashmir’s Kupwara area.
According to the reports, all four youth belong to the Sopore area in North kashmir and have fled from their home on August 28.
Police sources said that they were attempting to cross the LoC towards Pakistan for arms training, but were captured by army in Hafrooda forests area of Kupwara.
The identity of youths are yet to ascertained.
The news comes after a week after the Hizbul Mujahideen’s commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani posted video message through WhatsApp asking Kashmiri youth to join the Pakistan based militant outfit.
“We want to send a message to the people of Kashmir, especially youth, that they should come and join us. If they can’t join us, they should help us in whatever way they can,” says 21-years-old Burhan in the video.
