Paying tributes to two slain militants and a civilian Bilal Ahmad Bhat of Malangpora Pulwama who was killed in forces firing, Hurriyat Conference (g) Syed Ali Geelani said, “arrogance, rigidity and stubbornness of India is continuously costing the precious lives in Jammu & Kashmir and the forces under a planned manner are committing genocides of Kashmiris.”
Terming the bombing of orchards and paddy fields in Pulwama as “serious war crimes”, Geelani alleged that the forces are “revenging the presence of militants from the common people and they deliberately damage and destroy their properties so that they will not support the freedom struggle”.
“On the directions of Geelani, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat delegation comprising of provincial president Ameer Hamza Shah, assistant secretary Bashir Ahmad Qurashi, district president Pulwama Ghulam Mohi-u-din Andrabi and district secretary Shakeel Ahmad Bhat visited Malangpora and other affected villages and also participated in the funeral prayers of the martyrs and extended condolence massage from Geelani to the affected families,” a Hurriyat statement said.
“The Hurriyat delegation also addressed different public gatherings on the occasion and condemned the worst kind of state terrorism of India in Kashmir,” it said.
