The Met Department has today predicted rain in plains and snow in the higher reaches of Kashmir over the next 24 hours while the minimum temperature stayed above the freezing point in most parts of the Valley last night. “Light rain predicted at isolated places in Kashmir over the next 24 hours while there are chances of snowfall in the higher reaches of the Valley during this period,” a Met official said.
