Seven day Holi bonanza begins in Rajouri Archives

Holi, the festival of colours, has a special significance here as Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims celebrate the festival a week in advance by taking out processions on alternate days in the name of Lord Bhairon. Rajouri city today witnessed the beginning of the 7-day-long Holi festival when the Bhairon Committee took out the procession of Bhairon Devta which passed through various bazaars and lanes followed by hundreds of youth from both the communities.
