Authorities on Friday imposed restrictions in parts of Srinagar city to prevent separatist celebrations on Pakistan’s Independence Day. “Restrictions have been imposed in seven areas of Khanyar, Nowhatta, Rainwari, M.R. Gunj, Maisuma, Kral khud and Safa Kadal in order to maintain law and order,” a senior police officer told IANS here.
