During the special drive from July 28 to July 30, 2015, the Department of Drug and Food Control Organization Kashmir division inspected 181 Medical shops in various districts of Kashmir division. During the drive Licences of 20 Medical Shops have been suspended for violation of various provisions of Drug and Food Control Act, 1940 and 14 Medical Shops were put on the show cause notices.
