Kulgam areas shut for 2nd day to mourn killing of Hizb militant

Complete shutdown was observed in Kaimoh and adjoining areas of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Tuesday to pay homage to Hizb ul Mujahideen militant Dawood Ahmad Sheikh. Violent clashes also broke out in the area resulting in injuries to several people. Sheikh died in a brief gunfight with government forces in Buchroo village of Kulgam on Sunday night.
