Intense clashes erupted in Nasrullah Pora village of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday after protesters attempted to march towards a polling station. The protesters were marching towards Tankipora where polling stations were shifted last night when clashes erupted. Witnesses said that forces resorted to teargas and pepper gas shelling besides pellet firing to disperse the protesters, triggering intense clashes.
