Communication Gag Continued across Valley; Army man’s house set ablaze in Anantnag

State Government has yet to restore the BSNL broadband internet service which was snapped on August 13, effectively cutting Kashmir off from the world. This was the only service left untouched in the so far 38 days of the unrest. Sources in BSNL say they have not received orders to resume the service. “We got the order to shut it down. Waiting for the order to resume it,” said an official. This has created an unprecedented communication blockade in Valley.
