A young Nepali boy was killed and public property was damaged when a cloudburst hit Alchinathang Yokma and Alchinathang Gongma villages, 135 km from Leh, today. The cloudburst led to flash floods which damaged irrigation canals, bridges, roads and water supply schemes in several villages in the area. The road connectivity to Arayan valley, a famous spot in Khlasi division, was lost due to the flash floods.
