Civilian killings in Shopian of South Kashmir rocked the J&K Assembly here on Monday. Opposition parties moved an adjournment motion and pressed for adjournment of the House business. They created uproar and raised slogans. Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti intervened and urged Speaker Kavinder Gupta to allow discussion in the House. Later, the Speaker allowed the discussion. No question was taken in the Assembly. NC’s legislator Ali Mohammad Sagar started the discussion.
