In a bid to remove bottleneck for construction of first-of-its-kind multi level parking in city centre Lal Chowk, Srinagar Development Authority (SDA) demolished several structures in Old KMD Yard. Officials said these structures were hampering the construction of multi-level parking facility. The demolition drive was conducted under the supervision of the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr Asghar Hassan Samoon, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, Vice-Chairperson SDA, Secretary SDA, and other officers were present during the demolition drive.
