16,840 Cancer cases detected across J&K

With the state lagging behind in the medical advancements for the timely detection of cancer, the number of cancer cases has been increasing every year. According to the data released by the Indian Council of Medical Research, 16,840 patients with malignancies have been registered till August in the state as compared to 11,815 in 2014.
