Militants attack BSF convoy on Jammu-Srinagar highway, 3 jawans injured

Days after the daring terror attack in Punjab’s Gurdaspur, some unidentified militants attacked the BSF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Wednesday. According to initial reports, the BSF convoy was attacked near Udhampur on the Jammu and Srinagar Highway. Jammu bandh over AIIMS enters Day 4; 15 detained

Police detained 15 protesters on Monday, the fourth day of the Jammu bandh called by the AIIMS Coordination Committee (ACC), demanding a notification to set up an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the Jammu region.
