02 Arrested, 39 Bovine rescued in Samba

Two persons have been arrested for allegedly smuggling bovines and 39 cattle were rescued from their possession in two separate incidents in Samba district and here, police said today. In the first incident, Mohammad Rafiq was arrested when he was trying to allegedly smuggle 33 bovine animals into Punjab from Khangwala village in Samba district yesterday, police said.
