J&K recorded 78 Civilians, 104 Armed forces personnel killing in 2020-21: GoI

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) India on Tuesday said 182 civilians and armed forces personnel were killed in the militancy-related incidents in 2020 and 2021. In a written reply, a copy of which is in possession of Kashmir News Observer, the MHA said 437 militancy-related incidents were reported in 2020 and 2021. In these two years, 104 armed force personnel and 78 civilians lost their lives, the Ministry said. The heat wave continued to grip Kashmir on Tuesday while Meteorological Department (MeT) has predicted rains from Wednesday for four days across Jammu and Kashmir.
