Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) has called a protest shutdown in Kashmir on Tuesday against “ill-treatment meted-out to the ailing and incarcerated JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik by NIA at Delhi”. The death toll from attacks on churches and luxury hotels across Sri Lanka rose significantly to 290, and about 500 people were also wounded, police said on Monday.
