Challenging Kashmiri mainstream politicians to hold rallies in Kashmir like him, former Minister and BJP MLA, Chowdary Lal Singh on Sunday said that Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti should order Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in Rasana-rape-and-murder case otherwise the “Dogras won’t care if the government remains or falls”.
He was addressing a “Dogra Swabiman” rally which was attended by hundreds of people who marched from Samba and Kathua districts and reached Hiranagar.
“On one side, you (Mehbooba) praise Jammu for being secular, and on other-side, you accuse Dogras as communal in case Rasana-rape-and-murder.”
Taking a jibe at Chief Minister, he further said that “She (Mehbooba) feels freedom and secularism is strong in Jammu in comparison to Kashmir when she comes here (in Jammu). We can roam freely in Jammu.”
He said that “When you call us secular, then why are we accused of murder of nomad girl. The girl belongs to us. She was from Jammu and she is our daughter.”
“How many people migrated, whether Kashmiri Pandits, Kashmiri Muslims, displaced people from Pakistan administered Kashmir, 1947 refugees, and settled in areas across Jammu like Sunjwan and Bathindi. It was Jammu which gave them refugee without any disparity and discrimination.”
“Who will teach us? Jammu is known across the world. Actually, they don’t know about Dogras. They tried to malign image of Dogras. They threaten us that you have to leave Jammu. They live in fool’s paradise. I will advise them to take care of themselves,” he added,
He further said that “You cannot snatch Jammu from us. We are Dogras. We say it proudly.”
Criticizing the Kashmiri people, he said, “Kashmiris gather together and throw stones and kill pilgrims. Kashmiri politicians say there is no leader in Jammu. Can you hold 290 public rallies like me in Kashmir? Still you say there is no leader in Jammu.”
“If CBI probe not ordered, what will happen to government ? What will happen, when people of Jammu will go for vote of no confidence? Even if Government falls, we don’t care about it,” he said.
“They failed to make the plan after killing the girl, but their plan fell flat and they failed to damage Dogras even as there was no development in Jammu. Still, we did not care even if they did not give us jobs and snatched share of Jammu,” he said while referring to Kashmiri politicians.
He further said that “Our important places were destroyed by them yet we did not raise any voice and when they accused entire Dogra community. They have destroyed secularism in Kashmir. Kashmiriyat is nowhere in Kashmir. Which Kashmir is it? If it is like this, then it is very unfortunate?”
He asked all the villages in Hiranagar to select 50 people in each village and they will sit on strike one-by-one and “every village has to sit for 24 hours”.
He also changed the name of Hindu Ekta Manch to Dogra Ekta Manch.
Meanwhile, women stopped Archana Express train at Londi area of Hiranagar which was on its way from Pathankot to Jammu in protest against Government and demanded CBI probe.
