Four cops killed in IED blast in Sopore

Four policemen were killed in a blast in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Munir Khan said that four policemen were killed in the IED blast. Three of the four policemen were identified as ASI Irshad of Doda, M Amin of Kupwara and Ghulam Nabi of Sopore, police said. The fourth policeman succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. Two killed, Five missing after avalanche vehicle in Kupwara

At least seven people, including three women, are feared dead in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district after the vehicle they were travelling in was buried by an avalanche on Friday.
