To get feedback on BJP ministers, party brass to meet MLAs

Meeting scheduled with Amit Shah in New Delhi on Sept 25

Amid allegations that BJP ministers had brazenly “bartered” the party’s core ideology just to enjoy power with the PDP in J&K, the high command has called a meeting MPs and legislators from the state on September 25 to get the feedback. The meeting is scheduled to be held at New Delhi on the sidelines of the national executive committee meeting on September 24 and 25.
BJP national president Amit Shah and other central leaders will hold an interaction with the party MPs and legislators from J&K to get their opinion about the performance of the coalition government in general and the BJP ministers in particular.
Sources said the BJP top brass has been worried after getting a disappointing feedback about the performance of party ministers in the coalition.
The submissive attitude of the BJP ministers towards the PDP by surrendering the party’s core issues has added to the worries of the high command.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who visited Jammu on September 11 and 12, had also not received a good feedback about the performance of party ministers in J&K.

Cause for concern: Losing Jammu

The BJP top brass has been worried after getting a disappointing feedback about the performance of party ministers in the coalition. “The party is rapidly losing ground in the Jammu region due to the failure of the ministers to establish contact with the masses,” a BJP leader said, adding that the party is considering making serious efforts to improve the image of the party in Jammu region, which is considered as its citadel.
