Joint resistance camp protests settlement of West Pakistan Refugees

Leaders of joint resistance camp Monday staged a protest rally against the proposed settlement of West Pakistan Refugees (WPRs) here.
They also resented “inroads” being made by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM), an affiliate of RSS stating that organisations to what they said “damage” Kashmir movement.

In a statement, spokesperson of joint resistance camp said a protest rally was staged at Jamia Masjid Hyderpora here where participants stressed the need of the unity among people and the leaders as well.
JKLF Chairman and joint resistance leader Muhammad Yasin Malik also participated in the protest.
“Ïssuing of domicile certificates to the West Pakistan refugees is an attempt to change the demographic fabric of the state and such nefarious designs will be fought tooth and nail at every front and every level,” the statement said.

Hailing the steadfastness of the detainees in and outside Kashmir, the leaders said that “authorities under a well thought conspiracy prolong their detention to avenge the pro-freedom people.”
“They are not released despite quashing their detentions by their own courts. Investigating the pellet and bullet injuries at district level is a mockery and eyewash which has been going on here for the last seven decades but has failed to bring single culprits to justice,” they said.
The leaders, according to the statement, cautioned the people that they should restrain and refrain from being “misused by the pro-Indian politicians as their hands are soaked in the blood of our innocent youth.”
Reacting on the activities of some Muslim Rashtarya Manch (MRM) leaders said that “such veiled names are sister concerns of the fascist Hindutwa Parcharks and they try to hoodwink the innocent people by using Muslim names.”
“They should be categorically conveyed that their fallacious and communal agenda is not going to get ground here in Kashmir, as we can never compromise with the sacred blood of our martyrs,” the statement said.
The leaders and activists who participated in protest Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Haji Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Peer Saifullah, Sheikh Abdur Rashid, Advocate Muhammad Shafi Reshi, Meraj u Din Kalwal, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Siraj u Din, Muhammad Yousuf Mujahid, Abdul Hamid Magray, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Abdul Rashid, Mudasir Nadvi, Zahoor-ul-Haq, Ishfaq Ahmad Khan, Omer Aadil Dar and Rameez Raja.
