Resistance Group seek inputs from stakeholders on adopting the future strategy

The unified separatist leadership has sought suggestions from the civil society activists, traders and other stake holders on adopting the future strategy.

Syed Ali Geelani wrote to all the constituents of his organisations as the chairman of Hurriyat Conference (G) and sought suggestions on the ways and means to be adopted by the unified separatist leadership.

The unified separatist leadership also wrote to civil society activists including academicians, doctors, lawyers, journalists, businessmen and other stakeholders to provide inputs for the future course of action.

The detailed letter has sought concrete suggestions from the stakeholders on how to go ahead.

Earlier, varied suggestions were coming from the various quarters on ending the continuous shutdown while others were adamant on continuing with the protest calendars and strikes.

Some quarters also put a question mark on the ability of the unified separatist leadership saying that it was high time for them to chalk out a Plan B saying the continued shutdowns were brining fatigue among the people and hurting their interests.

Kashmir has already witnessed 94-day shutdown and according to the protest calendar issued by the unified separatist leadership, the shutdowns would continue until Thursday that would mark 97 days of shutdown in Kashmir, which is already the second-longest shutdown in history.
