Termination of absentee doctors welcomedThe termination of services of absentee doctors has been welcomed by civil society groups and doctors here.
However, they have asked the government to improve the work atmosphere of the doctors in government hospitals to stop brain drain.
“It is a welcome step but the government needs to look into the reasons why they left their homeland,” said Dr Nisar ul Hassan, president, Doctors Association Kashmir. He said the successive governments had ignored the health sector.
