Police detain Rashid and supporters along with a Goat, Cow and Horse

Police on Thursday detained independent lawmaker, Er Rashid along with many supporters as he tried to march to Lal Chowk on eve of World Human Rights Day.

Police detain Rashid and supporters along with a Goat, Cow and HorseRashid was protesting against the alleged human rights violations at the hands of the men in uniform in Jammu and Kashmir.

Starting from Sher-e-Kashmir Park, Rashid’s supporters carried a cow, horse and a goat with banners in their necks.

“I am Sangh Parivar’s cow, I am more secure than Kashmiris,” read the banner in the neck of the horse.

The banner in the neck of the horse read, “I am Rashtrapati Bhavan’s horse, I am more secure than Kashmiris”.

“I am Mahatma Gandhi’s goat, I am more secure than Kashmiris,” read the banner in the neck of the goat.

Police arrested Rashid with some of his supporters and lodged him in Kothi Bagh police station. Police also took away the goat, horse and the cow.
