Kashmir high on Modi government’s agenda: RSS mouthpiece

Referring to the CNN expose which revealed the unrest in Pakistan occupied Kashmir due to the atrocities by the Pakistan, Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) mouthpiece Panchjanya claims that Kashmir is high on Prime Minister Narendra Modi government’s agenda.

Panchjanya said that the Modi government is taking a holistic approach towards Jammu and Kashmir adding that the government’s move to refer to POK as POJK is a strategic one recognising Pakistan’s illegal occupation of parts of Jammu as well as Kashmir. The mouthpiece says the masses of POK are demanding from Pakistan and want to come to India because it’s a peace loving country.

“As shown in the video footage, the people unleashed a strong protest against Pakistani Army as well as administration because they are dissatisfied with Pakistan and want to merge with Bharat. And this is not the first time that people have raised their voices against this large number of human rights violations by Pakistan in POJK area,” it said.

Videos released by CNN-IBN showed massive protests against the Pakistani government in several areas of PoK, including Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli. It also exposes how the Pakistani establishment is using brutal force to quell rebellion in the region, resorting to massive human rights violation even though Islamabad has never lost an opportunity to hit out at New Delhi over Kashmir and the alleged attempts to suppress the people living in the Valley.
